You will drive the definition, optimization, improvement, and change approval of new and existing business processes and IT solutions via the development of business and functional requirements. Develop and configure the Asset Management tools to map Business processes and watch over compliance, development, and delivery of documentation and training material.RESPONSIBILITIES:Process Understanding and AnalysisBuild and manage the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in Ivanti ITSM with VirimaMaintain documentation to support IT asset management activities. Follow all policies and procedures for tracking IT equipment and software.Maintain asset records within our IT asset management database.Assess compliance and develop reporting with established IT asset policies and procedures.Conduct periodic audits to evaluate the accuracy of IT asset data. Investigate and recommend corrective measures to resolve data accuracy issues.Provide training on asset management procedures and tools.Commissioning and operating the IT asset management system.Predicting and minimizing risks associated with IT assets.Developing and maintaining plans and policies to manage IT assets.Asset lifecycle management: Ensuring assets are used efficiently and effectively, and making decisions about when to replace, upgrade, or retire themTracking asset usage: Understanding how users are using IT assets, and whether they are underutilized or overutilizedSecurity and compliance: Maintaining security and compliance, especially when disposing of assets that may contain sensitive dataTracking asset health and status: Keeping track of assets' health and status, and taking care of issues with devices or software
