Job Title: Delivery Director
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives across our organization.
About the Role:
* Lead the Planning and Execution: Develop and manage delivery plans, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource coordination.
* Partner with Engineering Teams: Collaborate closely with engineering teams to manage work intake, backlog grooming, prioritization, and task tracking.
* Serve as a Stakeholder Liaison: Provide clear updates and drive alignment across teams, stakeholders, and business priorities.
* Risk Mitigation and Resolution: Identify and mitigate risks, resolve blockers, and adjust plans as priorities evolve.
* Process Improvement: Continuously improve delivery processes, tools, and ways of working to increase efficiency and predictability.
* Delivery Progress Tracking: Track and report on delivery progress using appropriate metrics and tools.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 5+ Years of Experience: Leading delivery for complex projects or initiatives in agile environments.
* Agile Environment Expertise: Strong experience working in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar agile methodologies.
* Jira Proficiency: Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog management and delivery tracking.
* Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to work effectively with engineering teams and business stakeholders.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and comfort working in a client-facing role.
* Ambiguity Tolerance: Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and bring structure and clarity.
* Prioritization Support: Experience supporting prioritization, change management, and delivery trade-offs.
* SQL Familiarity: Basic SQL skills and familiarity with finance or accounting concepts are a plus.
