Mainframe Operations Support SpecialistResponsibilitiesProvide full technology stack planning, administration, and support for Client's Mainframe environment, including z/OS, Db2, CICS TS, MQ, and ISV softwareMonitor system health, schedule jobs (Autosys), and manage batch execution processesManage disk and tape systems including virtual tape librariesAssist in ensuring Service Now CMDB is refreshed and updated so that it can be utilized for mainframe capacity planningPerform incident management, change implementation, and recovery proceduresAdminister mainframe security via RACF and perform regular performance tuningProvide operational and disaster recovery support for mainframe environmentsManage software lifecycle, ensure compliance (NERC/CIP/SOX), and support application- and system-level tasksManages physical mainframe hardware, including vendor accessExecute diagnostics and support network configuration for mainframe componentTechnologies/ToolsIBM z/OSIBM RACFIBM CICSIBM MQDb2ServiceNowEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience preferred.Preferably to have relevant industry certification required.Experience with mainframe operations and related system processesFamiliarity with infrastructure service level agreements (SLAs)Proficiency in proactive system health monitoring and performance tracking toolsAdvanced/ Fluent English
