You will also develop an in-depth understanding of Wise’s business model and foster relationships with teams across the company as you work to help them understand Due Diligence risk exposure and mitigation strategies.Under KYC's newest Platform Pillar team called 'Platform Due Diligence', your mission is to support Wise due diligence needs for our Customers of Wise's Platform Partnership initiative according to Wise’s internal risk-based approach, appetite, and policy.Your mission:You will be a member of Wise’s Partnerships team to help provide skilled onboarding support to customers of Wise Partners who utilize Wise's platform/API services.Ensuring that we offer an excellent due diligence support and onboarding experience specialized attention for platform end-customersReviewing CDD/EDD documents, as well as communicating alongside various departments to guarantee an optimal speed for transfersIdentifying, gathering data to supporting and escalating product issues (bugs)Helping to improve existing processes by providing daily feedback to specialists or team lead (onboarding, tooling, training, mentoring)Working with other Due Diligence teams to expand Platform DD coverage to all necessary regionsHaving a deep understanding of different platform building blocks, verification models, customer models, country risks and regulatory requirements across multiple geographiesPerforming Due Diligence on existing, new and/or potential platform end-customers based on risk mitigation controls and certain trigger eventsProviding guidance and responses to daily inquiries from peers, front-line and management regarding due diligence matters and case analysis, when appropriateAssessing Risk level of referred profiles that may or may not meet the risk criteria expected from escalations, collaborating with appropriate stakeholdersKeeping up to date with updates and changes in Wise’s internal risk-based approach to KYC/CDDQualificationsYou have 1-3 years of experience with financial crime, KYC/CDD, and/or operational processes in a financial or compliance space. (Dealing with business accounts is a plus)You have strong knowledge of financial crime KYC/CDD operational processes (Other FinCrime teams knowledge is a plus)You have excellent written and verbal English, other languages are a plusYou have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and self-organizedYou have strong knowledge of Wise internal toolingYou are a strong communicator with passion to build and manage cross-team relationships; You're punctual, independent, self-starter with the drive to get things doneYou have strong analytical skills to identify risks associated with verification, as well as areas of processes in need and is quick to communicate and level up the team on the sameYou are able to synthesize complex requests from multiple parties into tangible deliverables within relevant deadlinesYou understand Wise products and verification models well, know how to differentiate customers by use case and to clearly communicate details, needs and reasons surrounding customer onboarding statusAdditional InformationPlease apply by submitting your resume in English.
