Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining a Windows environment, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs). They will also perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to resolve issues related to authentication and system performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user and group administration, OU structure, and permissions.
* Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows-based services such as DNS, DHCP, DFS, and GPOs.
* Perform root-cause analysis and resolve issues related to authentication and system performance.
* Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues within a Windows environment.
* Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems as needed.
* Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and operational procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in Windows system administration.
* Strong knowledge of Active Directory and related services.
* Proficiency in managing DNS, DHCP, DFS, and GPOs.
* Solid troubleshooting skills for authentication and performance issues in Windows environments.
* Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and IP subnetting.
* Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision.
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications (not required but a plus)
* Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MSCE).
* Experience with remote desktop support tools.
* Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell is a plus).
