The Role
The Manager I of Engineering plays a key leadership role, directly managing a small team of software engineers. This role is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality software projects, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture, and supporting the professional growth of engineers.
In addition to leading day‑to‑day execution, this manager contributes to tactical decision‑making, participates in architectural discussions, and ensures engineering efforts are aligned with project goals. They collaborate closely with product, design, and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver solutions that support Syniti’s broader mission.
What You Will Do
Manage and support a team of software engineers, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and regular performance feedback to support individual growth.
Guide the team in applying engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and secure development.
Participate in architectural and technical design discussions, ensuring sound engineering decisions.
Collaborate closely with product and cross‑functional teams to align priorities and deliver value.

What It Takes
Proven experience as a team lead or first‑line engineering manager in a software development environment.
Strong technical foundation in modern software development (e.g., C#, Go, React, TypeScript, AWS).
Familiarity with agile development methodologies, DevOps practices, and software delivery processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and support the growth of engineering team members.
Experience participating in technical design, architecture reviews, and secure development practices.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, distributed, and cross‑functional environment.

Python Software Engineer – AI / Data
Client is seeking highly skilled Python Software Engineers to support complex data workloads and AI‑driven systems. This role is ideal for engineers who are deeply hands‑on with Python and PySpark, comfortable working in production environments, and experienced contributing to or actively engaging in open‑source communities.
This position will focus on building production‑grade APIs, scalable data pipelines, and developer tooling, while collaborating across engineering, product, and data teams.
Top Requirement
Candidate must be very strong in Python and PySpark. This is non‑negotiable and should be the primary focus during technical screening.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop production‑grade Python services and APIs supporting AI and data platforms.
Build and optimize PySpark workloads to support large‑scale data processing.
Contribute to AI systems and complex data pipelines in production environments.
Develop developer tooling to streamline the software delivery lifecycle.
Implement observability, monitoring, and performance optimisation strategies.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong Python expertise (primary language).
Strong PySpark experience working with large datasets.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in Python.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience contributing to open‑source projects.
Code contributions, PRs, or meaningful participation via issues, discussions, or proposals in major libraries (data science, ML, or LLM ecosystems).
Strong experience with Git and platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
Experience with ML / data libraries such as Scikit‑Learn, TensorFlow, or similar.
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Experience with containers, orchestration systems, and serverless technologies.
Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical decisions clearly.
Nice to Have
Experience with LangChain and/or LangFlow.
Background supporting LLM‑based or AI‑driven applications.

.NET Software Engineer – Front‑end & Back‑end
We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. You will primarily be utilizing .NET Core, C#, and SQL. We hire innovative software development professionals who can work well within a highly collaborative, agile team to develop high quality, testable software. Ideally, you will have a wide breadth of experience performing development in a .NET environment and developing integrations to third‑party systems.
Responsibilities
Developing SaaS applications, including .NET APIs, and React applications.
Working with our product organization to understand business requirements and objectives.
Contributing to overall system architecture strategy and design.
Leading by example and setting a high standard for code quality.

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years full‑stack experience working through design, implementation, testing, and delivering high‑availability enterprise applications.

Should have a record of successful delivery of software applications as an individual and with a team.
Strong understanding of the Agile software development methodologies and principles.
Experience with CI/CD.
Front‑end experience is a plus (Angular, React).
Understanding of cloud native applications (Azure, AWS).
High‑Performance Python Engineer – Private‑Cloud Platform
We seek an experienced high‑performing Python engineer for a position supporting and developing new tools and processes to be used on an on‑prem private cloud application. Your role will involve communicating technical concepts clearly, facilitating discussions, collaborating with stakeholders, providing project updates and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities and Duties
Develop high performance cloud and container technologies mostly leveraging Python as the main programming language.
Develop and deliver high quality solutions and code.
Develop unit tests, improving the SDLC.
Investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration.
Actively participate in all aspects of an agile software development process.
Work as part of a team focused on containerization, virtualization and fault‑tolerant/carrier‑grade development.
Contribute to a highly available orchestration platform used to deploy private cloud platform aimed to be at the core of 5G and distributed Edge deployments worldwide.
Solid backend developer (preferably but not restricted to Python), knowledgeable in Linux Essentials:
Medium knowledge in concepts of hardware, processes, programs and the components of the Linux Operating System.
How to work on the command line and with files.
How to create and restore compressed backups and archives.
System security: users/groups and file permissions for public and private directories.
How to create and run simple scripts.
Interested in working on development and troubleshooting of a highly distributed orchestration platform supporting multiple vendors.
Strong computer networking knowledge and transport (TCP/UDP/etc.) layers.
Knowledge of cloud computing concepts.
Experience collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones, and collaborating with senior technical leaders.
Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab and code review tools.
Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Linux Containers, etc.).
Experience with Kubernetes cluster administration (design infrastructure that involves one or more Kubernetes clusters, configure, control, and monitor Kubernetes clusters).
