Join to apply for the Sales Executive role at ZIM Integrated Shipping ServicesWe are seeking a Sales Executive to increase the company's revenues through new business acquisition, identify growth opportunities, and continuously work to boost sales.The role involves contributing in designated areas of responsibility and managing the sales process for assigned customers and prospects.Responsibilities:Develop a portfolio of 60 clients and manage the sales process to maximize results with potential and existing customers.Build, maintain, and manage relationships within the assigned portfolio.Perform needs analysis, design solutions, and negotiate deals during the sales process.Maintain face-to-face contact with customers at least three times a year.Identify customer issues and collaborate with the Sales Coordinator & CS Team to resolve them.Qualify customers' sales potential and plan activities to increase volumes and profits.Evaluate competitors' activities and products in comparison to ZIM’s offerings.Develop account plans including forecasts, growth potential, needs assessment, and growth strategies.Prospect for potential customers using various methods such as meetings, calls, and networking.Requirements:Academic background in Economics, Business Management, or Marketing (advantageous).Minimum of 3 years proven experience in sales or marketing.Experience in the Shipping industry.Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.Advanced English skills (speaking, reading, writing).Strong communication skills.Customer service orientation (internal & external).Analytical thinking abilities.Additional Information:Employment Type: Full-timeJob Function: Sales and Business DevelopmentIndustries: Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Storage
