We're seeking an exceptional Video Editor who excels in creating high-volume, high-converting video ads for a leading DTC brand. This role requires expertise in direct response advertising mechanics, as well as proficiency in editing software like Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Ad Production: Transform raw footage into engaging short-form ads (15-90 seconds) and VSLs that drive sales across various platforms.
2. Direct Response Mechanics:
o Craft hooks to stop thumbs within the first 3 seconds using pattern interrupts, bold claims, and visual glitches.
o Deploy engagement disruptors such as kinetic typography, callout graphics, progress bars, and emoji reactions.
o Optimize pacing for platform algorithms (Meta 9:16, YouTube Shorts).
o A/B test visual approaches based on performance data.
3. Post-Production Excellence: Achieve professional results with color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and seamless transitions using Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
Required skills include:
* Fluent English fluency.
* 2+ years of experience editing for DTC/eCommerce brands, preferably in beauty, health, or supplements.
* A portfolio showcasing direct response ads that drove conversions.
* Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve + After Effects.
