Project Manager Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex initiatives in our agile engineering environment. This role will involve managing cross-functional teams and translating business priorities into actionable plans.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading delivery for complex projects, with experience working in agile environments and using tools like Jira for backlog management and delivery tracking.
The selected individual will be responsible for building and managing delivery plans, partnering closely with engineering teams, and serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
* Owning end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives, from planning through execution and completion
* Building and managing delivery plans, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource coordination
* Partnering closely with engineering teams to manage work intake, backlog grooming, prioritization, and task tracking
* Serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear updates and driving alignment across teams
* Identifying and mitigating risks, resolving blockers, and adjusting plans as priorities evolve
* Facilitating working sessions, stand-ups, planning meetings, and stakeholder workshops as needed
* Supporting prioritization decisions by providing delivery insights, trade-offs, and impact analysis
* Continuously improving delivery processes, tools, and ways of working to increase efficiency and predictability
* Tracking and reporting on delivery progress using appropriate metrics and tools
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 5+ years of experience leading delivery for complex projects or initiatives
* Strong experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar)
* Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog management and delivery tracking
* Proven ability to work effectively with engineering teams and business stakeholders
* Strong communication skills and comfort working in a client-facing role
* Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and bring structure and clarity
* Experience supporting prioritization, change management, and delivery trade-offs
