As an Application Engineer, you will be part of Global Customer Success (GCS) team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The GCS team works with Digital, Analog, Verification, Systems tools. To understand more on our tools & flows, you can visit https://www.cadence.com
Job Responsibilities
* Help customers in enhancing their productivity, debug complex issues and provide solutions in the digital tools & flows.
* Working closely with R&D and Product Engineering to identify and prioritize the product improvement initiatives through formal methods.
* Champion the customer needs and work closely with R&D and marketing to develop competitive and creative technical solutions.
* Ensure high quality support to customers. Ensuring high impact knowledge content, tool adoption kits and other high-level documents to increase the self-service for customers.
* Produce out-of-the-box solutions to customer problems using either tool capabilities or scripting techniques.
* Willingness to pick up new technology / tools and flows to adapt to changing customer needs.
Requirements:
* Complete bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar fields.
* Experience in Digital Implementation flows on advanced nodes.
* Expertise in one or more domains – Synthesis/Physical Design - Place & Route/STA
* Knowledge of scripting languages & Flow development is a plus.
* Must have excellent debugging skills and ability to separate out the critical issues from trivial ones.
* Experience in leading a small to mid-size team of engineers is a plus.
