Job Description
The role of SAP Technical Cutover Manager involves leading and coordinating technical SAP localization and deployment tasks throughout the life of a project. This includes ensuring technical landscape readiness, completing remaining SAP build configuration and development activities, and localizing SAP S/4HANA according to regional requirements in Asia.
The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP technical cutover management and a strong understanding of SAP modules. They will be responsible for collaborating with K-C leadership, project managers, functional leads, technical platform leads, SAP developers, and business stakeholders to complete all technical activities in a pre-planned and pre-defined sequence.
The Technical Cutover Manager will also provide leadership and mentorship to other cutover business and technical team members, adhering to SAP S/4HANA cutover best practices and standards.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and document traceability between technical requirements, business requirements, completion of deliverables that meet requirements, testing activities, and defect resolution through go-live and into hypercare.
* Track and report technical cutover preparation and progress, risks, actions, issues, and decisions to project leadership through the Microsoft Asure DevOps (ADO) project management tool, meetings, emails, and project documents.
Required Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in SAP technical cutover management, with at least 5 years in a technical cutover or related technical leadership role.
* Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, BW, and more) and their integration points.
* Prior hands-on experience with SAP configuration, development, implementation troubleshooting, and resolution of technical defects is required for this Technical Cutover Manager to manage all technical activities of other technical cutover resources.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with prior projects with a successful cutover to go-live with SAP S/4HANA.
* Familiarity with Agile and hybrid waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
