Senior Data Scientist - AI/ML Pricing Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist - AI/ML Pricing Specialist to play a crucial role in the development and deployment of innovative machine learning solutions for retail pricing. This individual will work with various customer and operational business constraints, translating complex real-world problems into well-defined mathematical objectives.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deploy machine learning solutions for retail pricing
* Work with large-scale datasets and big data tools (Apache Beam, Apache Kafka, Spark)
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
* Design and implement experiment pipelines and feature engineering strategies
* Maintain deep understanding of ML best practices, algorithms, and techniques
Requirements:
* Education:
* PhD or Masters degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Operation Research, or related field
* Experience:
* 5+ years of industry experience in applied Machine Learning
* 3+ years of experience building, deploying, and managing machine learning models in production environments at scale
* Skills:
* Proficiency with scientific libraries in Python (numpy, pandas, polars) and Machine Learning tools and frameworks (ScikitLearn, Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch)
* Strong data engineering skills and experience working with large-scale datasets
* Experience with cloud technologies AWS, GCP, or Azure
Preferred Requirements:
* Education:
* PhD preferred (CS, ML, AI, Statistics, Operation Research, or related field)
* Experience:
* Background in applying ML techniques to solve real-world business problems in the retail sector, especially pricing
* Skills:
* Familiarity with MLOps tools and pipelines
* Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team
