Engenheiro(a) Suporte Tecnico Sr - Electrical - Technical Support for Thermal Power PlantsJoin to apply for the Engenheiro(a) Suporte Tecnico Sr - Electrical - Technical Support for Thermal Power Plants role at Siemens Energy.A Snapshot of Your DayProviding technical support in electrical systems or equipment for Siemens Energy customers, focusing on maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.Supporting internal teams in preparing proposals for sales, commissioning, modernization, and expansion services for industrial or power generation plants.How You’ll Make An ImpactProvide expert technical support for electrical systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization in thermal power plants.Conduct root cause analysis of electrical issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Collaborate with plant operators, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient electrical system operation.Develop maintenance strategies, assist in system upgrades, and conduct training for plant personnel on electrical operations and safety.What You BringBachelor's degree in Electrical or Power Engineering; advanced degrees/certifications in electrical systems are a plus.Experience in electrical systems within thermal power plants, focusing on technical support and troubleshooting.Strong knowledge of electrical system design, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with proficiency in diagnostic tools (e.g., DIGSI).Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and willingness to travel (50%-60%) for plant visits and training across Brazil, Argentina, and LATAM.About The TeamIn this role, you will be part of a regional team supporting services for Siemens Energy customers across LATAM, ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of thermal power plants. You will have access to both traditional and new technologies to optimize processes, while developing as a technical expert.
