Podcast Audio Editor Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Podcast Audio Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of editing long-form podcasts and possess excellent editorial judgment.
* Edit raw podcast audio into polished, broadcast-ready episodes
* Remove filler words, false starts, redundancies, and off-topic tangents
* Improve pacing, clarity, and flow without changing the speaker's voice or intent
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the content team to maintain brand consistency and meet deadlines efficiently. They will also be required to follow embedded audio notes and written instructions carefully and deliver clean final WAV/MP3 files on deadline.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience editing long-form podcasts (interview or narrative style)
* Strong editorial judgment — you know what to cut and why
