Android Software Engineer Position
We seek a highly skilled Android developer to join our global tech team in a fully remote position. The ideal candidate is a professional with fluent English and at least 5 years of experience using Kotlin.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and prototyping high-quality Android applications (internal and external). They will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver impactful features, own the full app lifecycle, and contribute to architecture decisions. Additionally, they will mentor fellow engineers, help define coding standards and workflows, and stay up-to-date with the latest Android platform features and trends.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin (Java is a plus)
* Proven experience shipping at least one high-quality Android app with a team
* Solid understanding of software engineering principles and Android ecosystem constraints
* Experience building scalable, reliable, and responsive mobile applications
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
