Transport and Logistics Manager - Project (m/f) 1 Contributing to the definition/implementation of the Logistics strategy, in line with the requirements/needs of the project; Coordinating the integrated management of the Logistics process; Ensuring the efficient coordination of operations from Purchasing, Transport, Dispatch and Warehouse, in line with the client's requirements; Managing the Logistics team, ensuring their recruitment, training and assessment; Negotiating with suppliers, establishing and managing general supply contracts (local if in a market context), ensuring their performance assessment; Coordinating all the activity associated with the export and import logistics process in the various geographies; Organising and coordinating the entire process of issuing export or import support documents; Interacting with the functional areas, production, technical, etc., constantly assessing the possibilities for improving and raising awareness of the processes, as well as, in some cases, introducing/instructing rules and adaptations arising from changes to the import process that occur due to changes in the laws in the places of destination; Negotiating transport prices, by air or sea, either on a case-by-case basis (conventional and project cargo) or on the basis of tables and/or agreements previously and periodically negotiated (air cargo and containerised cargo).Job Requirements and Skills ProfileDegree in Management or relevant Engineering;3/5 years in similar areas (ideally in a multinational and/or international context), particularly in operational management/coordination (Logistics focus);Knowledge of legislation relating to logistics and transport, in all its aspects (Maritime, Air, Land and Rail);Management of Transport and/or International flows, simple or multimodal, knowledge of 2PL > 3PL methodology, and D2D;Knowledge of Office (preferably MS Outlook and MS Excel);Proficiency in English (essential);Driving licence;Rigour and reliability;Teamwork;Availability for mobility.Location: Afungi (Mozambique)
