Trade Compliance Expert
We are seeking a Trade Compliance Expert to monitor legislative and regulatory changes across LATAM and North America.
Key Responsibilities:
* Track customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other relevant requirements.
* Monitor government websites, third-party sources, and in-country experts for legislative and regulatory updates.
* Analyze new or amended legislation, documenting findings in an internal repository.
* Prepare comparative analyses of regulatory changes when required.
Requirements:
* Bilingual: English + one LATAM language (Spanish or Portuguese).
* 5+ years of professional experience in tax, global trade, or international regulatory research.
* Working knowledge of SAP GTS or similar trade compliance systems.
* Familiarity with international trade laws and frameworks.
Work Environment:
* 100% remote work.
* Independent contractor status.
