Job Overview
The Account Executive is responsible for ensuring the success of client public relations campaigns by developing targeted media strategies, conducting outreach, and maintaining regular communication with both clients and media contacts.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop strategic PR plans tailored to each client's unique needs
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing timely and proactive updates on campaign progress
* Build and grow client relationships through regular communication and tailored support
* Conduct media research and create targeted media lists to maximize brand exposure
* Secure and respond to media opportunities, ensuring alignment with client goals
* Schedule and coordinate media interviews, handling all logistics efficiently
* Follow up with media contacts to confirm placements and coverage timelines, ensuring accurate documentation
* Monitor media coverage through Google Alerts and track mentions or product features
* Facilitate writing projects with the team to deliver high-quality content aligned with client objectives
* Stay up-to-date on industry news trends and identify timely angles for client exposure
* Provide daily (Monday–Friday) client updates and maintain consistent communication throughout the campaign
* Prepare and send biweekly and monthly reports to demonstrate campaign effectiveness
Key Performance Indicators:
* Meet or exceed expected interview or media feature numbers
* Clients receive timely and proactive communication on campaign progress
* Media placements align with client goals, increasing brand visibility and credibility
* Clients recognize value from their engagement with the organization
* Accurate and updated documentation of all PR activities and client deliverables
