Global Trade Compliance Specialist
This role is a fully remote opportunity focused on researching and tracking global trade regulations across LATAM and North America.
* Monitor and maintain up-to-date awareness of legislative and regulatory changes in assigned countries using government websites, agencies, third-party sources, and in-country experts.
* Track global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other relevant requirements across jurisdictions (U.S., Canada, LATAM, etc.).
* Interpret, analyze, and document new or amended legislation in an internal repository with high accuracy and clarity.
The specialist will act as the first point of contact for new legal and regulatory changes and work closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts. This role involves minimal client interaction, focusing primarily on research and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Legislative and Regulatory Monitoring: Stay informed about current and upcoming changes to laws and regulations impacting global trade.
* Compliance Tracking: Monitor customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other relevant requirements across jurisdictions.
* Legislation Analysis: Interpret, analyze, and document new or amended legislation in an internal repository.
