Shaping the Future of Patient Care
We're seeking an experienced Founding Product Designer to help create a transformative tool that streamlines communication between healthcare providers and improves patient care. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence product design, workflow logic, and our mission from day one.
You'll collaborate directly with our founding team to understand their workflow, pain points, and goals, translating early concepts and requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
Your Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with our founding team to understand their workflow, pain points, and goals.
* Translate early concepts and requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
* Lead founders through the end-to-end product design process – from research through prototyping.
* Iterate designs based on feedback from medical professionals and internal stakeholders.
* Better communicate design rationale clearly to both non-technical founders and technical teams.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI or product design, with a strong portfolio of interactive web/mobile prototypes.
* Demonstrated ability to translate abstract or clinical problems into elegant design solutions.
* Proficiency with advanced prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Origami, etc).
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills, especially with non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong ownership mentality – you'll be the only designer and an early voice in product direction.
* Familiarity with US-based HIPAA regulations and health tech security standards.
Bonus Points For:
* Having engineering experience developing SaaS applications.
* Having engineering/product leadership experience.
* Knowledge of design for communication tools or messaging apps.
* Experience working with healthcare-related platforms.
* Experience working with early-stage startups.
Why This Role Is Unique:
* You're joining at the ground floor – helping shape the core product experience.
* You'll have direct influence over user experience and product decisions.
* Work closely with real users (doctors) to solve meaningful problems in patient care.
