Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to lead CMA’s business development and client management efforts in Latin America. This role requires a proactive hunter with strong C-level relationships in the financial sector and the ability to grow our footprint across the region.
Responsibilities
Identify and close new business opportunities with Central banks and major Financial institutions
Be able to travel frequently on business trips
Maintain and expand long-term relationships with existing clients
Act as a trusted partner to clients, supporting them through implementation and beyond
Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, advising senior management on strategy
Lead RFP processes, prepare proposals and presentations
Represent CMA at key events and industry forums in LATAM
Drive partnerships and alliances with regional stakeholders
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in technology sales / business development (financial software preferred)
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in LATAM
Strong existing network in banking and regulatory institutions
Knowledge of payment systems (RTGS, ACH, CSD, Instant Payments) is a strong advantage
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time across Latin America
Fluent in Spanish and English (B2+/C1)
Bachelor’s degree required; technical/finance background preferred
