Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled professional to coordinate port calls and provide exceptional customer service. This role involves working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth execution of port services in compliance with global standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with account sales teams to ensure seamless execution of port calls
* Respond to and follow up on customer inquiries promptly
* Assign and monitor service execution for all port appointments
* Ensure timely disbursement accounts (DAs) are sent out
* Manage advance funding to local agents
* Verify pre-funding approvals and escalate deviations for authorization
* Oversee vessel monitoring and service coordination
* Select and book suppliers and sub-agents
* Track and record expenses related to port calls
* Monitor global port calls and collaborate with operations
* Cash-in-Transit transactions must follow company procedures
* Identify process improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
* Manage DA handling and register complaints
Requirements:
* Experience in the maritime industry, preferably in ship agency operations
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational systems
* Strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills
