Executive Summary The process, managed by the Mechanical Engineer, is to help simplify the work in the field and maintain the overall schedule. The Mechanical Engineer will work with the project cost management team to help the Project Manager and DCD PM manage and control all cost-related issues encountered during the construction phase. The Mechanical Engineer works directly with the GC Mechanical Manager. Responsibilities: Conducting preliminary surveys of the site of construction. Ensuring that all formalities such as permits, and clearances are obtained from respective government agencies. Ensuring that all installations permits and requirements are accomplished. Ensuring that the GC keeps project documentation in order and within the appropriate repository. Taking part in the project planning plan and give inputs regarding implementation. Ensuring that construction activity progresses as per schedule. Reporting to the DCD PM regularly with updates on the construction work. Communicating with construction coordinators to ensure that all work force and equipment required are in order. Communicate with subcontractors and ensure that the project progresses as per schedule. Keep in touch with designers, architects, and suppliers to ensure that construction is going on as per schedule and within quality requirements. Acts as Quality Control Supervisor related for mechanical part of the project. Coordinate the Mechanical Commissioning process with the GC Mechanical Manager, the Cx Manager and the Commissioning Agent Able to manage battery limits and to perform interdisciplinary coordination with other areas.
