Audio Post Production Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Audio Post Production Specialist to join our team. As a contract remote role, you will be responsible for editing podcast audio files, enhancing sound quality, implementing sound design, adding music, and ensuring overall quality control for each episode.
Key responsibilities include:
* Edit raw podcast audio into polished, broadcast-ready episodes
* Remove filler words, false starts, redundancies, and off-topic tangents
* Improve pacing, clarity, and flow without changing the speaker's voice or intent
* Restructure sections when needed based on how questions were answered
* Insert intro/outro, sponsor reads, disclaimers, or updates when required
* Follow embedded audio notes and written instructions carefully
* Deliver clean final WAV/MP3 files on deadline
* Produce 3–4 short clips per episode for marketing use
* Support up to two rounds of edits per episode when requested
Required Skills
* Proficiency in audio editing software
* Excellent listening and comprehension skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Familiarity with sound design principles and practices
