Place of Examination and Interview: Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council

Compensation: SG-24 (Php 94,132.00)

Office: JJWC National Secretariat

Status: Regular


Qualifications

Prescribed qualifications

* Education: Master's Degree or Certificate in Leadership and Management from the CSC
* Training: 40 hours of supervisory/ management learning and development intervention
* Experience: Four (4) years of supervisory/management experience
* Eligibility: Career Service Professional; Second Level Eligibility

Preferred qualifications

* Education: Master's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Law, Accountancy, or Organizational Development
* Training: Sixty (60) hours of training in administration, office management, program and planning management, financial management, organization management


Job Description

The Chief Administrative Officer shall lead the implementation of JJWC's support services and provide oversight to ensure efficient delivery on matters related to human resource management and development, general administrative services, procurement and finance services including program planning and management.


Functions and Responsibilities

1. As head of the Division, direct, supervise and facilitate tasks to ensure proper functioning of Budget, Accounting, Cash, Personnel, Property and Supplies, Records and the General Services' Units.
2. Prepare and implement an effective financial plan to support JJWC's program, activities and projects.
3. Formulate and implement the fiscal policies and guidelines of JJWC.
4. Ensure legality and propriety of all financial transactions of JJWC.
5. Prepare required financial reports as required by JJWC and regulating agencies.
6. Ensure timely payment of all accountability of the office.
7. Direct the provision of administrative and logistical support to the JJWC and the RJJWC.
8. Plan, program and distribute and monitor work of the division.
9. Motivate, train and develop employees.
10. Review and evaluate the performance of employees.
11. Maintain morale and discipline among employees.
12. Develop cooperative and well-coordinated workforce.
13. Coordinate and cooperate with other organizational units within the agency.
14. Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Deputy Executive Director and Executive Director.

* Photocopy of Certificate of Eligibility/Rating/License
* Certificate of relevant training, learning and development intervention and seminars attended
* Copy of duly signed IPCR/Summary of Rating of Performance Contract Assessment in the present position, if applicable
* Photocopy of Transcript of Records
