A Day in the Life The Information Technology (IT) Project Manager will be located in São Paulo for a hybrid working model and will be responsible for managing projects for Brazil and LATAM region, leading multidisciplinary teams related to project scope. This Manager is also responsible for documenting, communicating, sharing project risks, managing project financials and all related tasks required to the project deliver. They can be assigned to one or more projects and will be the hub between business users and stakeholders and different groups within IT. Due to the Medtronic’s planned growth for the coming fiscal years, more projects with high complexity will be required. Those projects need integration between different areas and need the support of a Project Manager to deliver requirements on time. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: - Lead and direct one or more project teams engaged in global initiatives across functional and regional organizations - Develop and manage all facets of the project, from intake to implementation and closure. In addition to that, you will support technical negotiations with IT vendors and partners required to deliver a project - Implement the successful execution of outcomes derived from the change through effective organization and leadership, business case and benefits management, stakeholder management, risk management and issue resolution, planning and control, change management and quality management - Ensure the project adheres to all Corporate and IT policies and standards - Is responsible for effectively managing the constraints of project management: Scope, Cost, Schedule - Provide technical and analytical guidance and recommendations to leadership governance bodies - Track on advances and best practices in project management methodologies Required Knowledge and Experience: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic qualification - Experienced leading cross functional teams within a formalized methodology (e.g Project Management Institute (PMI) certification, Agile) - Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5 years) - Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and interpersonal skills - Fluency in English Fluency in Spanish and project management certifications (such as Project Management Professional (PMP), ScrumMaster, etc.) are nice to have.
