Senior IT Service Management Specialist

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IT service management, with a strong focus on service desk operations, incident management, and problem management.

This role is responsible for leading the development and enhancement of our IT service management platform. The successful candidate will design, develop, and implement complex IT service management solutions, including service catalog, request fulfillment, and change management.

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance. Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Provide solutions that utilize most out-of-the-box features without requiring customizations. Facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns; influence common modeling, design, and coding practices.

Perform upgrade testing by validating customizations, configurations, and integrations across major and minor releases. Develop and maintain Automated Test Framework (ATF) test suites to validate core functionalities, ensuring stability and reducing manual regression efforts. Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues. Maintain documentation for development and configuration.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
* 5-7 years of experience in IT service management, with a focus on service desk operations, incident management, and problem management.
* Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
* Proficient in scripting languages, such as JavaScript, and programming languages, such as Java.
* Experience with automation and DevOps practices, familiarity with continuous integration (CI/CD), code versioning tools, such as Git, and Agile principles.


Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

* A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in IT service management, with a focus on service desk operations, incident management, and problem management.
* Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
* Proficient in scripting languages, such as JavaScript, and programming languages, such as Java.
* Experience with automation and DevOps practices, familiarity with continuous integration (CI/CD), code versioning tools, such as Git, and Agile principles.
