Senior Video Editor Opportunity
We're a high-growth, direct-to-consumer beauty and wellness brand seeking an experienced Senior Video Editor to join our creative team.
Your role will be instrumental in driving sales across various platforms through the creation of high-volume, high-converting video advertising campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
* Transform raw footage into persuasive short-form ads (15-90 seconds) and VSLs that drive conversions for cold traffic.
* Mastery of direct response mechanics, including crafting hooks, deployment of engagement disruptors, optimization of pacing for platform algorithms, and A/B testing of visual approaches based on performance data.
* Post-production excellence, leveraging Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve for color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and seamless transitions.
* Rapid iteration and testing, partnering with our Creative Strategist to test new concepts weekly and pivot based on real-time campaign data.
* Ai-enhanced workflow, utilizing tools like Descript, Runway, and AI caption generators to maximize output without compromising quality.
Requirements:
* Strong level of fluent English fluency (hard requirement)
* 2+ years editing experience for DTC/eCommerce brands (beauty, health, or supplements ideal)
* Portfolio demonstrating direct response ads that drove conversions (show us your winners)
* Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve + After Effects
* Deep understanding of Meta/YouTube Shorts specs and algorithm-friendly editing patterns
* Native fluency with UGC aesthetics (raw, authentic, relatable) vs. polished brand content
* Proven ability to produce 8-12 ads per week without compromising quality
* Ability to think critically and recommend new approaches, ad formats, and tools (outside the box)
Bonus Points:
* Experience editing short-form VSLs (2-3+ minutes) or long-form VSLs (25+ minutes)
* Motion design skills (After Effects, Cinema 4D)
* Understanding of direct response copywriting principles
* Familiarity with CapCut, Descript, or AI editing tools
* Portuguese + English fluency
