Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Family-Based Immigration Paralegal to join our team remotely. In this role, you will work closely with our attorneys to prepare and manage family-based immigration cases from start to finish. The ideal candidate is proactive, client-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and file family-based immigration petitions and applications, including forms I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, and all related supporting documents
Collect, review, and organize client documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
Maintain and manage case files, deadlines, and follow-ups
Communicate with clients to provide case updates, request documents, and respond to general inquiries
Assist in preparing clients for USCIS interviews, including document review and guidance
Draft cover letters, affidavits, and other supporting materials
Monitor case progress and assist in responding to Requests for Evidence (RFEs)
Coordinate with attorneys to ensure timely filings and full compliance with immigration regulations
Handle all client information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism Qualifications
Prior experience in immigration law, specifically in family-based cases
Strong working knowledge of USCIS forms and procedures
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
