Design, develop, and implement scalable enhancements to the ServiceNow platform across multiple modules including ITSM, HRSD, CMDB, and custom applications.
Document technical designs, process flows, and system architecture to ensure transparency and maintainability.
Build and optimize automated workflows and solutions that streamline business processes and improve auditability, compliance, and efficiency across the organization.
Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and project managers to gather and analyze business requirements. Translate those into detailed technical specifications and implement them within the platform.
Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure solution accuracy and performance. Lead or support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and deploy production-ready configurations and customizations.
Develop and support integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems (e.g., Azure AD, Workday, Jira, Salesforce) using REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and other integration technologies.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches, upgrades, and security configurations in coordination with the platform governance team.
Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow releases, community best practices, and industry trends. Share knowledge across teams and support the implementation of development standards and governance.
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proficiency in ServiceNow development including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, Script Includes, and Catalog Items.
Experience with modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog, and CMDB.
Solid experience with REST and SOAP integrations.
Familiarity with communication protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, and related web technologies.
Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Scrum.
Skilled in requirement gathering, solution design, version control (e.g., Git), and release management.
Experience with development tools such as GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, and Postman is a plus.
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, or specialty certifications) are highly desirable.
