We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team in Contagem, Brazil. The ideal candidate will have experience with Power BI, databricks, Azure, SQL and Python programming skills.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Identifying components in need of testing and prioritizing the writing of those tests;
2. Working on POCs, small development/enhancement projects;
3. Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and client success staff to ensure the best-possible testing is achieved;
4. Understanding business goals and requirements and taking them into consideration when creating tests;
5. Improving our QA tooling and continuous testing within our CI/CD framework;
6. Collaborating within the Agile framework, fostering a team approach to software development and delivery;
7. Creating test plans and running them as needed;
8. Creating and managing defect tickets for new and existing functionality;
9. Assisting in release/deployment planning and execution activities;
10. Exercising independent judgement and discretion to define issues and develop solutions to complex problems that require innovation and ingenuity;
11. Providing accurate level of effort time estimates and providing recommendations for feature prioritization;
12. Coordinating with internal teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions;
13. Anticipating security issues, bugs, performance and scalability issues prior to them coming to pass;
