!!️ Summary of Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a sales pipeline across North America.
Prospect, qualify, and close opportunities within agribusiness and agro-industrial segments.
Sell portable NIR equipment, software, and calibration services.
Develop strategic partnerships with laboratories, universities, and research centers.
Support the development of a local validation and calibration network for the North American market.
Conduct technical assessments, product demonstrations, and validation activities for NIR solutions.
Engage with customers to identify needs, applications, and return on investment (ROI).
Structure and manage Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and pilot projects.
Implement consultative sales strategies focused on results and technical validation.
Gather market intelligence to enhance positioning, ICP, presentations, and commercial processes.
Required Qualifications:
*Experience in technical sales, market development, or product management.
*Experience with analytical instruments, spectroscopy, agricultural technologies, animal nutrition, laboratory services, or quality control.
Strong skills in proactive prospecting, new business development, and opportunity management.
*Ability to build relationships with technical customers, laboratories, researchers, and agribusiness industry leaders.
*Interest and ability to learn about NIR, calibration, forage analysis, and feed analysis.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Availability to travel for demonstrations, technical visits, and industry events.
*Self-driven profile with the ability to work in a startup environment and handle a high level of responsibility.
*Remote position, preferably based on the East Coast of the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Experience with NIR, FT-NIR, Raman, hyperspectral imaging, portable spectrometers, feed analysis, forage analysis, dairy nutrition, silage, or PAT (Process Analytical Technology).
*Existing relationships with forage laboratories, feed laboratories, dairy nutrition consultants, Land-Grant Universities, animal nutrition companies, or agricultural extension groups.
*Experience selling through distributors, manufacturers' representatives, laboratories, or technical channel partners.
*Ability to conduct basic product demonstrations and coordinate sample testing and analysis workflows.
*Portuguese, Spanish, and English language skills.
