Patent Project Manager
As a patent professional, you will oversee and manage patent filing requests from initial submission to final approval. Your role involves coordinating with clients, translators, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify project requirements, develop comprehensive strategies, and implement efficient workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing documents for European Patent Office (EPO) and foreign applications;
* Initiating responses to official communications and notifications;
* Coordinating filings for EPO and foreign patent applications;
* Monitoring deadlines and ensuring timely completion of assigned cases.
Essential skills and qualifications include:
* 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in a law firm or corporate setting;
* Strong organizational, leadership, and management abilities;
* Significant experience managing complex projects;
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders;
* Successful track record of collaboration with external vendors and translation tools.
Preferred qualifications include proficiency in machine translation engines and CAT tools, such as memoQ, as well as experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows.
