Job Overview
As a cybersecurity leader, this role focuses on vulnerability management across all IT functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing the identification, assessment, and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
This position involves conducting regular vulnerability assessments using tools such as Tenable and ServiceNow-Vulnerability Response. The candidate will analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and impact, develop and implement remediation plans, and collaborate with IT and application teams to ensure security and compliance.
Responsibilities
* Vulnerability Management: Run the Vulnerability Management program, identify improvement areas, and influence cybersecurity hygiene across all IT functions.
* Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using tools such as Tenable and ServiceNow-Vulnerability Response.
* Remediation Planning: Develop and implement remediation plans in collaboration with IT and application teams; ensure systems are secure and compliant with industry standards.
* Incident Response: Assist in incident response, providing expertise in vulnerability exploitation and mitigation.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or a related STEM major and/or relevant work experience.
* Strong experience overseeing identification, assessment, and remediation of security vulnerabilities across IT infrastructure.
* Experience with technical documentation development.
* Thorough understanding of standards such as NVD, CVE, CPE, CWE, CVSS, EPSS.
