Job Title
* As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing content from various sources and making it available in the cloud.
* Content in the cloud will be accessible to internal teams for compliance editing purposes before being delivered to clients or their dedicated delivery platform.
Key Responsibilities
1. Performing month-end cost accounting close and ensuring accurate financial records.
2. Locating assets within the S3 Aspera library and staging them for editors and compliance teams.
3. Moving video and audio files to the media prep staging folder under the distributor for editors to access and prepare.
4. Analyzing and importing source subtitle materials.
5. Preparing and conforming video files to US specifications for theatrical, special edits, middle east edits, and specific airline edits.
6. Multiplexing Thales and Lumexis systems using Manzanita 9.
7. Managing final exports from editors and preparing assets for archiving.
8. Conducting quality control checks on assets ready for ingest to ensure technical specifications meet OPEN guidelines.
9. De-multiplexing transport streams and multiplexing elementary streams with dynamic subtitles.
10. Delivering files to OEMs via Smartjog, Aspera, Expedat, and Signiant media shuttle.
Requirements
1. A minimum of 3 years' experience working with video, audio, subtitle, and metadata, as well as client service experience in the media and entertainment industry.
2. A strong understanding of video formats, distribution workflows, and technologies.
3. Experience in the inflight entertainment industry is a plus.
4. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
5. The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
6. A highly effective problem solver able to assess, adapt, and action changing priorities and strategies.
7. A willingness to work outside regular business hours and participate in 24/7 support when necessary.
