Reporting to the Director, Global Deliver Data & Analytics, the GTC Analytics Manager will partner with internal global stakeholders from Supply Chain, Information Technology and Data Science to leverage improved technology, data and analytics to transform business processes by creating visibility and democratizing global trade compliance data. The Trade Compliance Analytics Manager will leverage knowledge of import and export regulations to assist with the execution of the trade compliance digitalization strategy, partnering on data architecture and data governance efforts, and developing business insights to Trade Compliance stakeholders through data analytics and business intelligence.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Support deployment of data and technology strategies aligned to trade compliance policies, processes and procedures and contribute to the development and maintenance of trade compliance data management standards and processes.
- Champion the design, development and governance of global trade compliance metrics and scorecards; ensure scorecard reflects progression along capability maturity curve.
- Ensure timely implementation trade compliance of data and technology requirements, collaborating with GTC teams globally to support implementation of remediation and maturity of compliance processes.
- Perform trade compliance data analysis using multiple data sets to advise on design and implementation of compliance solutions related to issues including but not limited to product classification, duty optimization and special program utilization, export controls, valuation and country of origin.
- Facilitate data extraction, collection, cleansing and preparation for consumption through the use of available technology (CDL, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI) partnering with J&J Technology to mature trade compliance analytics & reporting platform.
- Collaborate with teams of trade compliance professionals and J&J businesses to build trust, influence, motivate self and others, practice diversity and inclusion, and elevate use of data analytics to make informed trade compliance decisions.
- Perform all other relevant activities relating to job accountabilities as the need arises.
**Qualifications**
**Education:**:A Bachelor's or equivalent University degree is required, with a focus in logistics, supply chain, compliance and/or transportation preferred.
**Experience & Skills**:
**Required**:
- A minimum of 6 years of direct functional expertise in any of the following areas; global trade compliance/operations, logistics, transportation, regulatory compliance, or equivalent
- Knowledge of importing, exporting, and country specific trade regulations
- Experience developing and implementing global trade compliance processes
- Experience working in an international environment
- Proven experience implementing data and technology solutions to support effective compliance processes
- Prior experience with global trade management systems like SAP GTS, Trade Automation, Integration Point, Customs Broker integrations
- Demonstrated experience working with Alteryx and BI tools
**Preferred**:
- Advanced degree strongly preferred and/or global trade certification
- Project management experience
- Experience with data models, databases, data visualization, data blending and data preparation
