We a looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team in Rio, Brazil. As our Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the finance functions of the entities in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay and other LA Countries as relevant. Key Responsibilities - Accounts Payable functions: Control AP routines, working closely with financial team on BPO of LA entities, ensuring accurate financial records, including proper allocation, meeting deadlines and complying with TGS group policies and procedures, including reconciliations between local and group systems. - Billing/Accounts Receivables functions: Control Invoicing/AR routines, working closely with financial team on BPO of LA entities, ensuring accurate financial records, including proper allocation, meeting deadlines and complying with TGS group policies and procedures, including reconciliations between local and group systems. Work closer to COP, providing any support needed as well as monitoring cash collections for LA entities, ensuring local and group systems to be updated and reconciled. - Internal/External Reports functions: Control deadlines and prepare Brazil local content documentation to certificate the contracts within this requirement. Provide any financial report requested by Management or other areas within the organization. - Cash Management functions: Constant management of cash flow position and relationship with local banks for LA. - Audit functions: Support on internal and external audit by providing all necessary documentation and information required for LA entities. - Administrative functions: Ensure compliance, controlling deadlines of PoAs, certificates and any institutional requirements. Key Competencies - Qualified Brazilian Accountant with over 10 years of experience and an active Accountant Certificate, with strong knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards, paralegal compliance, tax laws, and local content requirements. - Broad financial expertise including treasury operations, bank relations, audits, and use of ERP systems and financial tools for Latin America. - Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and accuracy in execution. - Effective communicator with experience collaborating across all organizational levels, fluent in English and intermediate in Spanish.
