IT Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and experience in supporting various computer systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, systems, and networks for all employees, both onsite and remote. They will also serve as the first point of contact for internal IT support requests, providing timely troubleshooting and resolution for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
* Job Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, and networks for all employees.
* Serve as the first point of contact for internal IT support requests, providing timely troubleshooting and resolution.
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various platforms.
* Support the deployment and integration of new productivity and collaboration tools.
* Monitor and maintain endpoint security, including antivirus, firewalls, and multi-factor authentication.
* Assist with cloud infrastructure management, data backup, and disaster recovery planning.
* Document processes, create user guides, and train staff on new technologies and best practices.
* Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and implement new tools that enhance productivity and security.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A working level of spoken and written English.
* Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role.
* Deep knowledge of computer systems, networks, operating systems, and cloud platforms.
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, ability to solve problems independently, and communicate solutions clearly.
* Experience with endpoint management, SaaS administration, and automation tools.
* Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, including MFA, VPNs, patch management, and incident response.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to train and support non-technical users.
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience/certifications).
