Job Description:
We are looking for experienced professionals in Linux and Unix, with expertise in public Cloud support in Professional Services. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Cloud operations, capable of giving Level 3 support, acting as part of a big team dedicated to assisting clients. Someone able to solve critical and high-impact issues independently is required.
The customer-first mindset is essential. Participating in major incident handling, troubleshooting service request failures, downtime extensions, and ongoing incidents for a customer is a must. Quick responses during escalations, taking proactive steps to avoid them, identifying and driving initiatives to improve the operation and stability of our customer system are also expected.
Driving initiatives to standardize and simplify server operations, continuous improvement methodologies through root cause analysis for Service requests failures/outages, performance issues, analyzing root-causes of failures in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and defining corrective action plans with well-defined mitigation steps are key responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical skills: Expert-level technical support for all Linux OS/Windows and Infra customer issues, experience in administration of cloud platforms based on Linux operating systems in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud as well as SAP data centres, Pacemaker administration knowledge, practical experience with OS operation, upgrades, and security patching, networking experience with TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, firewalls, experience with network services like DNS, LDAP, and proxies, good understanding of IT security, OS hardening, and experience in script programming (Shell, Perl, Python, Go) and server automation tools (Ansible, CHEF).
Professional requirements: Strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking, very good communication, experience of safeguarding customer relationship and strong customer service focus, fluency in English, at least 8 years of related professional experience, Bachelor's degree or higher (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technologies Management).
