Key Roles and Responsibilities
We are seeking a seasoned Risk Manager/ CMMC Specialist to join our team. In this capacity, you will be responsible for reviewing client secure enclave architecture and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification control interpretation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Primary Objectives
* Review client's secure enclave architecture and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification control interpretation, providing recommendations to ensure compliance.
* Assess NIST SP 800-171 compliance in various environments supporting government agencies, identifying areas of improvement and developing strategic plans to address these gaps.
* Collaborate in developing Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for improvement initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with existing organizational processes.
* Provide support during formal Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) assessments, facilitating open communication between stakeholders and ensuring timely completion of assessment tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as cybersecurity or information assurance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management and cybersecurity, with a strong background in CMMC and NIST SP 800-171 compliance.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and industry standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
