Senior Executive: Renewable Energy
The Senior Executive: Renewable Energy oversees the development and implementation of renewable energy strategies to drive business growth, sustainability, and profitability.
This role requires building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including project developers, financial institutions, and government agencies.
* Analyzes market trends and assesses investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
* Develops and executes comprehensive due diligence processes to evaluate the viability of potential investments.
* Maintains up-to-date knowledge of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations, policy changes, and technological advancements in the renewable energy sector.
* Ensures adherence to all relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, CFA, CAIA) preferred.
* 8+ years of relevant experience from a Bank or an Asset Management Firm.
* Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is essential.
* Demonstrable experience in renewable project development, investment banking, capital markets, private equity in international and domestic markets.
* Proven experience with private equity investment processes, including deal sourcing, comprehensive due diligence, and investment execution, specifically within renewable energy project portfolios.
* Extensive experience globally in structuring and financing renewable energy projects across various sectors, including solar energy, wind power, biomass, hydroelectricity, and emerging technologies like energy storage and green hydrogen.
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of financial concepts and valuation methodologies.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex ideas.
