**Responsibilities**:
- Ongoing monitoring and assessment of operational risk and control environment
- Engage with various control functions across the firm, business, operations management, compliance, risk management, and technology to document current process flows, gaps and enhancements
- Perform end-to-end management of issue/action plan administration including development of action plans, tracking of open issues and validation of completion
- Review control issues identified by the business, audit, and regulators, and help compose action plans with our control partners
- Assist in the implementation of firm wide control initiatives in region
- Lead and influence risk and/or control related initiatives
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the regional risk control framework, including managing control committees and forums
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related area
- Preferred experience in risk management, controls or other control related functions
- Basic knowledge of businesses, products and risk disciplines in the region
- Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence; proactive approach to identify and drive process improvements
- Ability to forge internal relationships across a broad range of functions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to present in a clear and concise manner
- Proficiency with office products such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint (PitchPRO)
- Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills desired
