Job Responsibilities
* Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
* Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
* Track and trace shipments as required
* Utilize Process Monitors and Workflows on daily basis
* Ensure timely movement and delivery of freight to customers
* Ensure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs purposes
* Ensure accurate and timely client invoicing
* Interact with our customers in arranging their shipments, exceeding customer service expectations
* Contribute to maintain strong relationships with suppliers (airlines, trucking companies, and others)
* Meet compliance at all times to regulations.
* Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency
* Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed and updated
* Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree preferred
* Proactive and positive attitude
* Solid knowledge of import ad export
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent customer service and client relations skills
* Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* Have a passion in logistics and desire to grow with our fantastic team
* ocean freight forwarding experience is a must
* hands on experience for MERCANTE / SISCOMEX system input
* good network of airlines and airfreight master co-loaders
* Proficient in English and Portuguese
