Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, modification, or reconstruction on an item (including inspection) on aircraft and their assemblies.
Perform services in accordance with current aviation legislation, Helibras' MOM (Maintenance Organization Manual) and MCQ (Quality Control Manual), and the data provided in the manuals of the aircraft, engine, and component manufacturers.
Use methods, techniques, and practices established in the latest revision of the manufacturer's maintenance manual or in the instructions for continued airworthiness prepared by the manufacturer, or other methods, techniques, and practices approved by Helibras. Use tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to support the designated activities. Ensure that the materials used in performing the services comply with the requirements of the legislation and manufacturer's standards.
Perform an inspection or other maintenance specified in an airworthiness limitation section of a manufacturer's maintenance manual, or other instructions for continued airworthiness, in accordance with that section. Comply with manufacturer service bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) issued by the Aviation Authorities.
Provide technical support services for innovation activities through the implementation and maintenance of facilities or equipment intended for the execution of research, development, or technological innovation projects.
Approve the return to service of aircraft when holding a Airframe and Powerplant License, acting as an Inspection Delegate when designated to do so. Have a thorough understanding of applicable civil aviation regulations and be proficient in the use of various inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools appropriate to the work being performed and approved for return to service.
Approve the return to service of aircraft that have undergone major repairs or alterations, acting as an Inspection Delegate when designated to do so.
Record the services performed and/or supervised in accordance with current legislation. Record the execution and approval of return to service of aircraft undergoing Major Repairs and/or Major Alterations. Record the execution and approval of return to service of items (components) after maintenance, preventive maintenance, reconditioning, modification, or repair, through the Authorized Release Certificate. Make records immediately after the completion of each activity. Ensure that all records relevant to the service have been made before considering the service complete.
Keep your workstation clean and organized, collecting all debris produced in the performance of your activities at the end of the day and depositing it in an appropriate place. Clean, organize, and store all tools used in the performance of your activities in order to maintain the organization of the work area and ensure that no tools are left behind in the aircraft/aeronautical product.
Requirements
Complete technical training in MMA.
Active CHT in CEL and GMP.
CJT in AVI will be a plus.
Previous practical experience in rotary wing aircraft maintenance.
Previous experience with the Airbus Helicopters line.
