Job Description – Maintenance Technician
Main Responsibilities
* Execute safety lockout/tagout procedures for corrective mechanical, electrical, or electronic maintenance on machines and equipment, including pumps, valves, implements, electric motors, electric switches, transformers, contactors, and relays.
* Identify faults, perform repairs, replace cables and electrical components, and test systems based on electrical diagrams and specifications, using appropriate measurement tools to ensure proper operation of cables and power networks.
* Perform preventive mechanical, electrical, or electronic maintenance, including assembly, installations, periodic inspections, adjustments, calibrations, and lubrication to detect potential issues and extend equipment life.
* Verify results by testing machines and equipment to ensure they operate within required conditions.
* Record and manage materials needed for tasks, requesting missing items to prevent delays.
* Remove materials and waste generated during maintenance procedures.
* Maintain accurate records of executed activities.
* Ensure personal and collective safety by using appropriate PPE during all maintenance activities.
* Keep storage, upkeep, and cleanliness of tools, machinery, equipment, materials, and work areas.
* Perform related and complementary activities as required.
Education
Technical degree in Electronics, Electrotechnics, or Electromechanics.
