Job Summary:
In this key technical role, the PLM Engineer III will serve as a subject matter expert in infrastructure related to manufacturing information systems. The engineer will identify effective methods and architect solutions to provide high-quality service to end-users of the application.
Essential Duties:
* Maintenance, optimization, troubleshooting, upgrades, installation and documentation of infrastructure related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems including PLM database management, project management systems, CAD and PDM systems.
* Administration of new and existing technologies including design, documentation, install configuration maintenance integration and testing.
* Collaboration with business customers on hardware middleware requirements.
* Liaison with vendors engineers analysts leadership for data integrity application software databases.
* Regular system monitoring verifying integrity health availability reviewing logs ensuring scheduled jobs completion problem solving efforts regarding system service matters external support when necessary trends analysis leading innovative solutions deliverables development operational requirements best practices recommendations analysis data decision making resolution tech industry issues configurations devices peripherals ticketing resolving assigned tasks responsibilities site.
