Turing invites musicians to participate in a groundbreaking research project, the Common Lives Project.
As part of this initiative, you and a fellow musician will wear GoPro cameras during collaborative practice or recording sessions. Recordings will power AI models understanding complex, real-world activities.
Your role involves capturing daily activities using a head-mounted camera for 5 days within a 2-week period.
 * Wear a GoPro camera to record daily activities for 5 separate days.
 * Record at least 7 hours per day, with flexibility to take breaks.
 * Upload footage securely and review short clips, choosing to delete, anonymize, or consent to each segment.
Requirements:
 * A private residence is required, preferably with no children under 18 present or visiting during the recording period.
 * All adult household members must be fluent English speakers and consent to being recorded.
 * You must live in a self-contained apartment or indoor work environment.
 * All household members agree to appear in recordings.
Participant Expectations:
 * You should work indoors in non-customer-facing roles (e.g., not retail or childcare).
 * Both participants should have a GoPro mounted during the activity if sharing the same workplace or household.
 * Preferably engaged in manual or creative work (e.g., chef, artist, carpenter, musician).
 * You must be self-employed or have employer consent to record in the work environment.
 * You are able to use a computer for basic tasks like reviewing and uploading video clips.
