Job Title: Property Law Junior Associate
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to support project management initiatives in property law. The ideal candidate will have a background in title research, mineral rights, and ownership calculations.
This role is critical to providing high-quality reports and maintaining accurate land records for clients, enabling successful project execution. Key responsibilities include thorough research of county records, analyzing and documenting findings, ensuring research meets deadlines, and collaborating with teams to adapt to evolving business priorities.
* Title Research: Conduct detailed research of county records to determine surface and mineral ownership using online databases.
* Documentation: Analyze and document findings to create comprehensive reports for clients.
* Compliance: Ensure research and documentation meet deadlines for internal and client needs.
* Collaboration: Work independently and with teams to adapt to evolving business priorities.
Required Qualifications Skills:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in title or mineral research or related property law.
* Familiarity with property rights and ownership research.
* Proficiency with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Adobe Acrobat.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with property law or similar.
Preferred Experience:
* Knowledge of energy or resource-based industries.
* Experience supporting US-based teams in land or property management.
* Degree in Law or associate (Juris Doctorate or equivalent) preferred, especially with relevant property law experience.
