Job Overview
Mastery Consulting seeks a seasoned project manager focused on governance and new demands to work with one of our global clients starting immediately. The job will involve managing new business demands and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring structured prioritization and alignment with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* New Demand Management:
o Lead the intake, evaluation, and prioritization of new demands, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.
* Continuous Improvement:
o Drive enhancements in processes and tools, working with business and IT teams to increase efficiency and value delivery.
* Service Introduction & Handover to Operations:
o Ensure smooth transitions from projects to operations, coordinating with functional and technical teams to establish proper documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness.
* Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Act as a bridge between IT and business, ensuring that requirements are well understood and implemented in a structured manner.
* Process Standardization:
o Establish and enforce standardized procedures for demand management, governance, and service transitions.
* Performance & Reporting:
o Track and report on the efficiency of governance and demand management processes, providing insights to leadership for continuous refinement.
* Risk Management:
o Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with new demands and operational governance.
* Vendor Coordination:
o Collaborate with external partners to ensure governance best practices are followed in outsourced services.
Requirements:
* Technical Skills:
o A strong understanding of IT governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, DevOps).
o Familiarity with processes such as Lean 6 sigma, Green Belt, Scrum.
o Knowledge of project management and change management methodologies.
o Experience with customer success capabilities.
o Experience with reporting and analytics tools for tracking demand and governance performance.
* Social Skills:
o Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
o Ability to work cross-functionally with business and IT teams.
o Negotiation and facilitation skills to align multiple stakeholders.
o Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership without technical language.
