Role Overview
As a public relations manager for Latin America, you will be responsible for elevating the company's visibility across key markets such as Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Chile.
* Manage PR execution for launches and ongoing brand activations—aligning local media, translating technical information into engaging stories, and ensuring consistent communication with global and regional marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute the regional PR calendar and embargo plan; ensure alignment with global launches and LATAM sales priorities.
* Cultivate strong connections with top-tier tech and gaming editors, reviewers, and influencers across Portuguese and Spanish-speaking markets.
* Host press briefings & events; manage press lists, invitations, materials, and post-event follow-ups.
* Coordinate product reviews; manage the sample allocation, delivery, and follow-up process with regional media outlets.
* Partner collaboration; drive joint PR opportunities with distributors, e-commerce partners, and brand collaborators.
* Content localization; adapt global press materials for LATAM audiences to ensure cultural and linguistic accuracy.
* Monitor & report; track press coverage, analyze media performance metrics, and deliver post-launch summaries.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
* 5–8+ years in tech, consumer electronics, or gaming PR across LATAM. Proven track record in media relations and launch management.
* Regional expertise:
o Strong understanding of LATAM media ecosystem and regional communication styles.
o Existing relationships with major tech and gaming outlets.
* Language skills:
o Fluent in English and either Portuguese or Spanish (bilingual proficiency preferred).
* Execution & measurement:
o Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple launches.
o Familiarity with PR metrics such as share of voice and media reach.
